After a short period of time I realized that I needed to make room in my small shop so I got rid of my hand tool bench. I still needed some form of work holding while using hand tools. So I made a moxon vice out of quarter sawn Sapele and white oak. The whole vice is held onto the table via the Microjig dovetail work holding system and it works quite well. The white oak ends are attached via sliding dovetails for strength and also a little bit of style points.

Because lets be honest, who doesn’t love a little style in their life?
